Over 300 Million iPhone Apps Downloaded

As the ads showing in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, Apple said users have "downloaded over 300 million" applications from its App Store since it opened in July, 2008. Developer Gets Rich with iPhone Game

[CNN] - Demeter, a former ATM software designer, created an iPhone game called "Trism" in time and pitched it to Apple last spring. Priced at $5, "Trism" earned Demeter $250,000 in profits the first two months. He can now quit his bank job and has launched a company, Demiforce, to develop more electronic games with a salaried staff, five games in development including a spinoff to "Trism" named "Trismology."
