Referred as “iPhone Killer” LG’s Windows Mobile-based Incite phone will be available through AT&T, who is also the exclusive wireless service provider for Apple’s iPhone in the U.S.

The LG Incite is equipped with both domestic and international 3G capabilities, built-in aGPS, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. The phone is powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operation system. Moreover, the LG Incite includes a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen and a 3-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. While users can play with on-screen virtual keyboards — a full QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode — they can also enjoy 20-key (hard) keyboard with haptic keys that afford vibration feedback.

Previously LS has supplied a smartphone model KS20 to European market and the US edition of that phone appeared on the FCC site late last year, feeding rumors of a coming Windows-enabled “iPhone killer” from LG for the US.

Unlocked versions of the KS20 have been available in stores at prices ranging from about $270 to $340 while AT&T will offer the Incite phone at a more attractive $199.99, after rebate, with a two-year contract - almost the exact same terms offering for Apple’s iPhone.

It’s expected that Verizon Wireless will soon start offering a different “iPhone killer” — the BlackBerry Storm from RIM — at the same price range.
